Aquacycl

Aquacycl generates direct electricity from ultra-high-strength organic wastewater from industrial companies, including food and beverage and hydrocarbon processing. The wastewater generated from these producers can create toxicity events at downstream treatment and strain existing infrastructure. Aquacycl's patented BioElectrochemical Treatment Technology (BETT) is an on-site, modular industrial pre-treatment that reduces up to 90% of organic carbon. BETT requires no dilution to treat ultra-high-strength streams, has fast treatment times, a small footprint, and low energy consumption. BETT can reduce wastewater management costs by 20%-60% relative to current practices. Aquacycl has validated removal rates in confectionery, brewery, military and confined animal production installations.
