オープン・フォーラムは、世界経済フォーラムの活動に幅広い参加者を迎え入れる場です。2003年より、毎年1月、ダボスの中心にあるスイス・アルプス・スクールに各界のリーダーたちが集結するオープンフォーラムでは、政府高官、芸術家、市民社会のリーダー、革新的な起業家、多国籍企業のCEOなどが、喫緊の課題について意見や経験、体験を一般の参加者と共有します。
「ダボスの精神」に基づき、オープン・フォーラムでは、地政学、経済、環境、リーダーシップ、芸術の社会的役割など、さまざまなテーマについて、思想家やリーダーたちの間で活発な議論が交わされます。また、一般の参加者と学者、ビジネスリーダー、政策立案者との間で、世界の現状を改善するための対話の場が提供されます。
オープン・フォーラムは、アイデア、思考、疑問をオープンな環境で表現し、議論を可能とするプラットフォームを提供することによって、重要な課題に関する対話を促し、認識を広めることを目指します。すべてのセッションは、ライブ配信され、アーカイブで視聴可能です。
