Vanshica Kant

Global Shaper, New Delhi Hub, United Nations Resident Coordinator's Office (UNRCO)

Vanshica Kant works as an international consultant with the Asian Development Bank on infrastructure development projects in the Global South. A Schwarzman Scholar, Vanshica recently completed a second Masters in Management Science on Leadership & Global Affairs from Schwarzman College, Tsinghua University, China with a focus on public policy, international relations, and economics and business. During the program, she undertook her industry capstone with the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank on the changing landscape of infrastructure financing.

Previously, Vanshica was with the United Nations Resident Coordinator's Office in India. Her mandate was to work with the leadership and secretariat on inter-agency project coordination, specific policy matters, and crisis management.

A historian by training and policy professional by practice, Vanshica also holds a Master's in Global and Imperial History, with distinction, from the University of Oxford on full scholarship. Prior to this, she attained her Bachelor's in History Honours from St. Stephen's College, University of Delhi. Her sector interest areas include health infrastructure, sustainable development, public-private partnerships, skill development, disaster management, and cultural heritage.

As a Global Shaper with the World Economic Forum, she has held several leadership positions in the community including being Curator of the New Delhi Hub and a member of the international Covid Steering Committee. Vanshica has been selected to attend several Forum congregations including Summer Davos and the Indian Economic Summit. She has also represented India on various other international platforms including the G8 & G20 Youth Summit. She writes for the World Economic Forum Agenda Blog and the Financial Express.
