With the International Organization for Migration since 1994, Richard Danziger is currently IOM’s Regional Director for West & Central Africa. He has served as Chief of Mission in Pakistan, Afghanistan, Indonesia and Sri Lanka & the Maldives and in different capacities in Rwanda, DRC, Philippines, Israel and the Occupied Territories. From 2005 to 2010 he headed IOM’s Counter Trafficking Division overseeing human trafficking projects and research throughout the world. Richard was a member of the WEF Council on Illicit Trade and Organized Crime which he chaired 2010-11.
