Nathaniel Horner

Research Assistant, Carnegie Mellon University

Nathaniel is a policy and systems analyst with experience in the energy and national security domains. He is currently a doctoral student in Engineering and Public Policy at Carnegie Mellon, where his research has ranged across a variety of topics including innovation policy, energy use in the information technology sector, electricity transmission, and shale gas tax policy.

Prior to joining CMU, Nathaniel was a member of the professional staff at the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory, filling systems analysis, software engineering, and project management roles. He holds master\'s degrees in systems engineering
