Jiawei Ye

Platform Funding Lead, World Economic Forum

Jiawei is the Platform Funding Lead of Direct Funding and Philanthropic Organizations at the World Economic Forum, where he builds public-private partnerships between governments, corporations and philanthropic organizations and mobilizes funding to drive collective impact for sustainability. He was the Lead of Family Business Community at the World Economic Forum from 2019 to 2021, where he developed strategic partnerships with Fortune 500 family businesses and co-shaped the global family business agenda on the most challenging issues. Partnering with the most inspiring business leaders, he sparked positive internal transformations and galvanized families around the world for responsible business practice, ownership stewardship and long-term value creation.

Jiawei is a Senior Research Fellow at the Global Family Business Research Center at Tsinghua University National Institute for Financial Research, where he held the position of Executive Director from 2017-2019. He is Visiting Senior Researcher at INSEAD's Wendel International Centre for Family Enterprise. Previously, Jiawei was an Advisor at Cambridge Family Enterprise Group (CFEG). He is a recognized author and speaks at family business forums, business schools, public and financial institutions.

Jiawei earned a M.S. in Economics and B.S. in Economics and Finance from PSL University-Université Paris Dauphine in 2012 and is Hogan Leadership Assessment licensed.
