President and Chief Executive Officer of the Ingka Group, the largest franchisee to operate under the IKEA brand. As the world’s largest home furnishing retailer, the Ingka Group owns and operates 358 stores in 30 countries under franchise agreements with Inter IKEA Systems. Started career at IKEA in 1995 as Purchase Manager in Pakistan. Over the years, held different roles including Assistant to IKEA Founder Ingvar Kamprad and to then IKEA Chief Executive Officer Anders Dahlvig; Business Area Manager, Kitchen and Dining; Regional Manager, China; Supply Chain Manager; and more recently, as Managing Director for Range & Supply, Inter IKEA Group. Since September 2017, current position. MSc in Industrial Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg, Sweden.
