Experts have forecast the future of the world economy based on current trends in education and development. They say the number of people living below the International Poverty Line of $2.15 a day will drop from 8% to 2% by 2050. In Africa, where poverty is highest, the number will fall from 29% to 7%. More than two-thirds of humanity could be living on $10 a day or more by 2050, up from 42% today
