With a background in Law, Economics and Behavioural Science, Sophie has extensive experience in strategic foresight, macro risk analysis and insight development for public and private entities. Prior to joining Zurich Insurance Group, Sophie was lead of the World Economic Forum’s Global Risks Initiative and primary author of the Global Risks Reports 2023 and 2024. She also previously co-founded and led the Global Geopolitics practice at KPMG, helping corporates and investors to understand, anticipate and manage the impact of geopolitics on their business. Sophie began her career as a management consultant, advising on public sector policy and administration at a local, state and national level of government in Australia.
