Michalis Haliassos is Professor of Macroeconomics and Finance at Goethe University Frankfurt, Director of the Center for Financial Studies (CFS), and Director of the CEPR Network on Household Finance. He is Research Fellow of CEPR in Financial Economics, International Research Fellow of NETSPAR, and advisor to the European Central Bank on the construction of a Eurozone Survey of Household Finances and Consumption.
