Matt comes to Business Insider by way of Las Vegas where he produced TV news for the ABC affiliate in Sin City. Before that he was an award-winning multimedia reporter for WRVO, Central NY\\\'s leading NPR affiliate.

In addition to his media background, Matt spent half a decade earlier in his career in New York City as a professional theatre director. He helmed everything from new plays to Shakespeare.

Matt got his Master\\\'s in Broadcast Journalism from Syracuse University\\\'s Newhouse School, and hails from Upstate NY.
