Discography: over 70 recordings, including: Brahms symphonic cycle with the London Philharmonic; Barber cycle with the Royal Scottish National Orchestra; Prokofiev cycle with the São Paulo Symphony, and Dvorak cycle with the Baltimore Symphony. First woman to conduct the BBC's "Last Night of the Proms" in 2013. Founder, OrchKids, an after school music program serving Baltimore's inner city children. Started in 2009 with 30 kids, Orchkids now serves over 2,000 young people.
