Her background is in energy, climate, data, and climate philanthropy. María holds an MPA in Energy and Environment from Columbia University, a postgraduate diploma from the London School of Economics, and is a Fulbright Scholar, a British Chevening Scholar, and a US State Department Professional Fellow
