Formerly: 15 years as Architect, New York City, with work published in Architectural Record, Progressive Architecture, Global Architecture, the New York Times, A+U, and Architectural Digest. Currently directs the Changing Places Research Group and co-directs the City Science Initiative, MIT Media Laboratory. Recent work has focused on responsive housing, urban mobility-on-demand, and living lab experiments. Author of Louis I.
