John Kingston is the president of the McGraw Hill Financial Global Institute and MHFI's Director of Market Insight. He assumed those roles in early 2015 after almost 30 years with Platts, the energy news and price reporting unit of McGraw Hill. As President of the Institute, Kingston’s role is to advances the mission of the Institute, which includes supporting global economic growth and job creation. He provides leadership and coordination of our global strategy for thought leadership and partners closely with subject matter experts throughout MHFI—as well as leading academic, business and nonprofit organizations—to develop effective thought leadership programs.
