Started career as Underwriter, Prudential; then spent 14 years in a variety of international roles for GE Insurance Solutions. Formerly: Group Chief Executive Officer, Converium, the Swiss mid-sized independent reinsurance company, and led a major turnaround of the business before it was acquired by SCOR in 2007; four years with Zurich Insurance, including a period as Global Chief Underwriting Officer; Group Chief Executive, Canopius, a prominent Lloyd’s managing agent. January 2014, joined Lloyd’s. Member: UK Government’s Financial Services Trade and Investment Board; London Mayor’s Business Advisory Board. Member of the Board, UK Chartered Insurance Institute.
