Hilde Tonne, represents strong and global leadership in the energy, infrastructure and technology sectors.
Hilde Tonne serves as Chair of the Arup Group Board and is also Senior Advisor to Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners. She was most recently CEO of Statnett SF, the Transmission System Operator of Norway. Prior to that, Hilde held the position of Executive Director and Chief Innovation Officer at Ramboll Group, and served in various global EVP roles at Telenor Group ASA for 10 years. Earlier in her career, she was Director of Technology & Research at Norsk Hydro Oil & Energy and spent 15 years in the energy industry in a range of leadership positions.
Tonne has also demonstrated a strong commitment to research and development, serving as Chair of the Research Council of Norway and Chair of Hafslund AS, a Norwegian energy utility. Her diverse leadership experience also includes non-executive director positions at Vattenfall, Statkraft, DNV, and Danske Bank.
Hilde Tonne holds a M.Sc. in Reservoir Engineering from NTNU Norway and RWTH Aachen, Germany, and is a Norwegian citizen.
