Saadatu Hamu is a youth advocate and Managing Partner of Hamu Legal an innovative multidisciplinary law firm focused on providing legal advisory to early stage and high growth companies to position them for expansion and growth in Africa. Saadatu has extensive experience on corporate Commercial transactions and the intersection of Law, policy and regulatory developments on business. With an in depth understanding of the Nigerian legal system she has advised clients locally and internationally on; intellectual property, banking, project finance and asset acquisitions.

She is also a member of the Abuja Hub of the Global Shapers Community -which is an initiative of the World Economic Forum comprised of diverse young people under 30 years, who are exceptional in their potential, their achievement, and their drive to make positive contribution in their communities. Saadatu served as Curator of the Hub in 2016/2017 in addition to carrying out projects across Nigeria’s governance, health and security in partnership with the Embassy of the United States of America. In recognition of her to contribution to nation building and public impact at an early stage, she was selected as one of the 2016 Associate Fellow of the Nigeria Leadership Initiative (NLI), she is also an Alumni of the Nelson Mandela School of Public Governance University of Cape Town Nelson Mandela School Public Governance Emerging African Leaders Program.

Saadatu is a recognised speaker in public fora’s and excellently delivers her contributions to the society on Law, politics, policy and business development without lines being blurred.
