Joelle Gamble is an economist who works to bridge political organizing with rigorous analysis in order to create systemic change in the United States. A principal on the newly founded Reimagining Capitalism team at Omidyar Network, Joelle manages a portfolio focused on grassroots organizing and co-leads a portfolio focused on rebuilding the U.S. labor movement. She continues to publish her own research on labor market power, race and technology while commenting in popular publications on the state of the U.S. economy. Joelle serves as the youngest member of the Roosevelt Institute’s Board of directors and was presented the Open Door Award by the Frances Perkins Center for her commitment to workers’ rights.
