Janelle is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and enjoys identifying ways to improve processes and organizing the chaos of complicated projects. Janelle began her career at ASU as a student worker in 2004 and has enjoyed a broad portfolio in several positions over the years, including the management of all business operations in the Office of University Initiatives, overseeing a comprehensive database of ASU’s community outreach programs throughout the state, managing nearly $30M in sponsored funds from foundations, planning large conferences with university partners, and coordinating communication pieces for President Crow’s vision for a New American University. Today as a Director in the Office of University Affairs, she assists the Senior Vice President of University Affairs and Chief of Staff to President Crow with tracking and executing complex institutional projects.
Janelle is a proud Sun Devil and three-time graduate of ASU (BA Sociology, MA Criminal Justice, MEd Higher and Postsecondary Education). Originally from the beautiful Big Island of Hawai’i, Janelle spent several years in the San Francisco Bay Area before relocating to Phoenix to attend ASU. She and her husband, also an ASU alum and employee, live with their three sons in Mesa, Arizona.
