I joined Mercari, Inc. in December 2013 and became a Director in March 2014, where I looked over the corporate division and worked on establishing our company culture as well as building a foundation for strong talents to grow in our company. Mercari reached its IPO in June of 2018, and with offices in Japan and the US we aim to “create value in a global marketplace where anyone can buy & sell.”

Prior to joining Mercari, I managed the IPOs of IT companies including mixi, Inc. and DeNA Co., Ltd. at Daiwa Securities SMBC. After that, I joined mixi, Inc. in 2006 as Director, Executive Officer, and CFO, and supervised the Corporate Division.
