Dana Shukirbayeva is an ESG professional, impact entrepreneur, and ecologist specializing in sustainable urban development. She is the founder of FOREST HERO, a ClimateTech startup backed by Google, and co-founder of Qala AI in UrbanTech. A member of the UN Youth Advisory Board, she has been recognized as Forbes 30 Under 30, a COP28 Women Climate Entrepreneurs winner, and a WiSER Pioneer 2024. Dana is Curator of the Global Shapers Astana Hub, an expert for the Cartier Women?s Initiative Academy, and lectures on ESG at the Kazakhstan-German University. She holds degrees from Lomonosov Moscow State University and the Higher School of Economics, with additional training from TU Delft, EPFL, Berkeley Law, and Cambridge.
