Alex is a Consultant at Social Ventures Australia (SVA), Australia's leading non-profit strategy advisor, with experience in strategy development, organisational effectiveness, outcomes measurement, and evaluations.

He started his career at L.E.K. Consulting, a global strategy firm, where he advised clients across education, healthcare, media, and energy on strategy, transactions, and organisational performance. His project experience includes advising a Group of Eight university on its commercial partnerships strategy and supporting SBS to develop its inaugural First Nations Strategy.

He is the Founder of Careers in Colour, a non-profit advancing racial and cultural diversity in Australian workplaces, and previously led Australia’s largest professional LGBTQ+ mentoring program.

Alex has been recognised as a 40 Under 40 Most Influential Asian-Australian, 30 Under 30 Outstanding LGBTQIA+ Leader by BCG and Out for Australia, and will commence a Masters of Global Affairs at Tsinghua University as a Schwarzman Scholar.
