More than 100 CEOs have signed an open letter ahead of this year’s COP28 meeting. They’re calling for transformative policies to accelerate global decarbonization to halve CO2 emissions by 2030 and to keep the 1.5˚C target within reach. The signatories are members of the Alliance of CEO Climate Leaders, the world’s largest CEO-led community committed to reaching net zero by 2050.

The CEOs, members of the Alliance of CEO Climate Leaders, the world’s largest CEO-led community committed to reaching net zero by 2050, propose three key areas for government action:
Businesses must also extend their climate ambitions beyond themselves.
The Alliance of CEO Climate Leaders has already reduced its collective emissions by 10%, the equivalent of Japan’s emissions. The CEOs are now focused on driving change through the value chain and making their impact even bolder and bigger.
