Dr. Shi Piao is Ant Group's Director and Head of International Research and Partnerships, where she works in close collaboration with international organizations, research institutions, and business partners to support strategic projects and research.
In this role, she is responsible for ESG and sustainability innovation research, which aims to deliver on Ant Group's vision of enabling all consumers and small and micro businesses to have equal access to financial and other services that are inclusive, green, and sustainable. Her areas of focus include fintech, platform governance, inclusive finance, and green finance. Prior to joining Ant Group in 2016, Dr. Piao worked for the International Monetary Fund in Washington, DC. She holds a Ph.D. in Macroeconomics from Seoul National University.
