Monica Sharma is the Joint Chief of Staff, working with Dr. Anish Shah – Managing Director & CEO, Mahindra Group.
She is responsible for supporting Dr. Shah in terms of all external engagements, lead all external relationships and work closely for all activities that require Dr. Anish Shah’s presence or coordination across the Group companies.
She comes from a decade-long experience across two industries, Hospitality and Real Estate with a major focus on people (primarily customer experience and engagement) along with managing high net-worth clients for the company. She also has multiple years of leading and managing diverse, cross-functional teams.

Before Joining M&M, she was heading the luxury sales vertical at Oberoi Realty (India's second most valuable Real Estate Company in terms of Market Cap.) with a direct reporting to Mr. Vikas Oberoi (Chairman & MD of Oberoi Realty), and was the overall custodian of their flagship project; Three Sixty West – by Ritz Carlton
She was responsible for implementing strategies for sales, transaction closures, due diligence, collections with the ultimate focus on customer experience at all times.

Before that, she was working with the Oberoi group of hotels and has had extensive training in their various properties across the country. She is an alumna of The Oberoi Centre for Learning & Development, which is widely recognized as having one of the best management programs in Asia for hospitality management. Monica was heading “The Belvedere”, which is an exclusive business facility for industry leaders at The Oberoi Mumbai, India.

She comes from n armed forces background and is the youngest in her four-member family. She is passionate about yoga, playing football and aspires to be a continuous reader, and wants to do a lot of humanitarian work in the future.
