Zhu Qiuguo

Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Deep Robotics

Zhu Qiuguo, born in November 1982, is an Associate Professor and Ph.D. advisor at Zhejiang University, as well as the founder and CEO of DEEP Robotics. His research focuses on bionic robotics and machine intelligence. He has led the development of the quadruped robot “Jueying” and the humanoid robot “Wukong.” As a principal investigator, he has undertaken more than ten research projects, including those funded by the Science and Technology Commission, the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and the Zhejiang Provincial Natural Science Foundation. He has published over 40 academic papers and holds more than 40 authorized invention patents, including 3 international patents. He has also participated in the formulation of one national standard. His accolades include the First Prize of the Zhejiang Science and Technology Award, the Second Prize of the National Teaching Achievement Award, the First Prize of the Zhejiang Teaching Achievement Award, the Top Ten Academic Advances of Zhejiang University, the Young Innovator Award of the Zhejiang University Information Technology Department, and the title of Zhejiang Province's Most Innovative Young Tech Entrepreneur.
