Thérèse Kayikwamba Wagner, Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation, and Francophonie of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), is a recognized specialist in political analysis, strategic planning, and conflict resolution. With over 10 years of experience in diplomacy and international affairs, she has demonstrated her skills both in the DRC and in the Great Lakes region.
A graduate in Human Rights and Democratization from the European Inter-University Centre of Venice (2010) and in Public Administration from Harvard Kennedy School (2023), Thérèse Kayikwamba Wagner is particularly well-versed in security crises. She has played a crucial role in addressing the disruptions caused by Rwanda and its allies, notably the CNDP and M23, which have impacted the populations of eastern DRC.
