Sanjeev Chadha is chief executive officer of Asia, Middle East and North Africa (AMEA). With net revenues of over $63 billion, PepsiCo’s businesses make hundreds of enjoyable foods and beverages that are respected household names throughout the world. In its global portfolio, PepsiCo has 22 different brands that generate more than $1 billion each in annual retail sales.
Sanjeev assumed this role in September 2013 and is responsible for overseeing all aspects of PepsiCo’s food and beverage businesses across Asia, the Middle East and North Africa, Australia and New Zealand as well as beverages in sub-Sahara Africa, which together generated over $6.6 billion in revenues in 2012.
Sanjeev has held a wide range of roles since joining the company in 1989. Prior to assuming his current role, he was president of PepsiCo’s Middle East and Africa region. Previously, he served as president, PepsiCo India & South Asia; SVP - Commercial, Asia Pacific, including China and India; and senior general manager, Vietnam and the Philippines, as well as holding other leadership roles in sales, marketing, innovation and franchise.
Sanjeev started his PepsiCo career as a founding member of the PepsiCo beverage business in India. A passionate advocate of water conservation and water security, Sanjeev led PepsiCo India to be the first beverage business worldwide to achieve positive water balance.
Sanjeev started his career with Brooke Bond, now a part of Unilever, and was with JWT prior to joining PepsiCo.
