Samantha Zhu is Accenture’s Senior Managing Director, Chairperson and Market Unit Lead for Greater China, responsible for the company’s strategy, growth, and operations in the region. She leads a team of highly skilled professionals that provides Reinvention Services across strategy, consulting, technology, operations, Song and Industry X to multinational and Chinese clients from various industries. Since joining Accenture in 1997, Samantha has taken on diverse leadership roles in Accenture Greater China, including Client Group Lead of Communications, Media & Technology, Operations Service Group Lead, Human Capital and Diversity Lead, and Corporate Citizenship Council Lead. With her strategic insights, she helps CEOs and board members of some of the largest enterprises in China to reinvent their operations in a changing business landscape, to accelerate growth and innovation, build resilience and achieve 360-degree value. Samantha has long been an advocate for responsible business and social impact, driving initiatives to advance women leadership, inclusion and diversity, and sustainability. Under her leadership, Accenture Greater China has been certified as a Great Place To Work®. She steers Accenture’s collaboration with World Economic Forum on China’s energy transition and responsible AI in industries. She has been recognized as one of the most powerful women by Fortune China and as one of China’s 100 Power Businesswomen by Forbes. Samantha holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Fudan University. She is based in Shanghai.
