Samantha Motsoe Akwei is a Ghanaian-American executive thought leader and global social impact strategist with experience spanning corporate tech, nonprofit, and government sectors. She has led transformative initiatives as Communications Director, Diversity Director, and Talent Manager, advancing equity, strengthening organizations, and elevating brand visibility through strategy, systems change, and digital communications.

Previously, she served as a Google Fiber Digital Inclusion Fellow, environmental organizer, and workforce development coach, after beginning her career as an AmeriCorps tutor. Skilled in communications, web design, and branding, Samantha leverages storytelling to amplify voices, mobilize communities, and drive measurable impact.

She is actively engaged in leadership networks including Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Catalyst 2030, ForbesBLK, Global Shapers (Oakland Hub), HandsOn Bay Area, and New Leaders Council. An award-winning poet and co-author of the Best New African Poets Anthology (2015), she brings a creative lens to every space she leads. Samantha also served as a board or advisory member with ForbesBLK Local Advisory, California Poets in Schools, and the Youth Speaks Advisory Council. She holds a B.A. in English from Spelman College and a Master of Public Administration from San Francisco State University.
