Saad Rahim is the Chief Strategist and Global Head of Research for Trafigura. He and his team are responsible for the company’s views on markets and macroeconomics, including the outlook for Crude Oil, Oil Products and Metals markets, commodity prices, equity and credit markets, and political risk. He also chairs the Strategic Research Group, which examines emerging trends and technologies. Prior to joining Trafigura, Saad was with BG Group and before that with Chevron. He attended Stanford and the Johns Hopkins School for Advanced International Studies (SAIS), receiving degrees in Economics & Political Science.
