Ritesh Malik is a medical doctor-turned-entrepreneur, angel investor, speaker, and philanthropist. In 2015, Malik founded Innov8 Coworking, a Y Combinator-backed startup that grew into a significant coworking player with 45 locations across India. His entrepreneurial acumen led to the successful sale of Innov8 to SoftBank backed OYO.
Post-sale, Malik shifted his focus to managing his family office, which plays an active role in backing over 125 startups and investing in public equities and real estate. One of Malik’s most notable philanthropic contributions is his role as co-founder and trustee of Plaksha University, a 50-acre technology university located in Mohali, Punjab. Additionally, he serves on the board of NSUIT, a 150 acre government university in New Delhi, and has co-founded Accelerate India Philanthropy, an initiative aimed at encouraging philanthropic efforts among Indian family offices.
