Rwandan technology enthusiast and politician who serves as Minister of Information and Communications Technology and Innovation of Rwanda. Formerly: Head of the Kigali Innovation City initiative. Prior to that, Head of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) at the Rwanda Development Board. Appointed Minister by President Paul Kagame in 2018; the cabinet is 50% women, making Rwanda, with Ethiopia, the only two African countries with gender equality in their governments. Studied at the University of Rwanda, College of Science and Technology and received an MSc from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
