Maya Horgan Famodu is Managing Director at Ingressive Capital, a $10 million venture capital fund targeting early stage start-ups in sub-Saharan Africa’s key tech markets; 80% of the fund’s limited partners run leading global funds, allowing Ingressive’s portfolio companies to access international capital. The fund has been a seed investor in some of the highest growth start-ups on the continent, including Paystack, Tizeti, 54Gene, Jetstream and Bamboo. Horgan Famodu previously worked in private equity research at JPMorgan after completing the Cornell Prelaw Program and attending Pomona College.
