Has taught architecture at the Central Academy of Fine Arts, Beijing. Recipient of awards and honours, including: Young Architects Award, Architecture League (2006); selected as one of the 20 most influential young architects today, ICON magazine (2008); named one of the 10 most creative people in architecture, Fast Company (2009); the first architect from China to receive an RIBA fellowship (2010).
