She holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Aberdeen in the UK, Masters in Economic Development and Policy Analysis from the University of Southampton. She seats on the board of the Global Future Council, UNICEF Brazil, Racial Equity Promotion Pact, Financial Innovation Laboratory of the Brazilian Securities Commission, and the Center for the Study of Labor Relations and Inequalities. She is a former staff of the Inter-American Development Bank and Hewlett-Packard. In 2024 and 2023 she was recognized by Bloomberg Linea as one of the 500 most influential leaders in Latin America and in 2024 named a top voice in Economic Development, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion by Linkedin.
