Fulbright Scholar: MS Environmental and Energy Policy, Michigan Tech. Bachelor's in Chemical and Environmental Engineering. Social Entrepreneur with 12 years of career experience in the climate, ocean, and plastic pollution spaces with a particular lens on SIDS and young people. Experience includes grassroots actions, high-level policy advocacy, and leading corporate sustainability programs. Co-founder of SYAH (the only regional organization to convene young people across 8 African and Asian SIDS to advance the sustainable development of the region); #SeeingBlue (the flagship project of the Port Louis Hub of the Global Shapers Community aimed at empowering young people from SIDS to lead on ocean solutions and advocacy); Tap Water Revolution (a project to increase access to safe tap water while reducing plastic pollution across all sectors in Mauritius), and #Prep4COP (a project to increase the effective engagement of young people from the most climate-vulnerable countries within the UNFCCC). Alumni, Global Shapers Community. Former Coordinator of the Commonwealth Youth Climate Change Network. Editor, 5th Global Environment Outlook for Youth publication.
