Karen Fang is Global Head of Infrastructure and Sustainable Finance, Co-Head of Global Capital Solutions at Bank of America, and a member of the firm's Management Committee.

She leads enterprise-wide efforts across the bank's eight lines of business to deliver structured capital solutions in the energy, power and digital infrastructure sectors, with a particular focus on financing global power generation and the rapidly expanding ecosystem including AI-driven data centers and chips. Karen oversees the firm's enterprise-wide infrastructure and sustainable finance strategy, including its ten-year goal to mobilize and deploy $1.5 trillion in sustainable finance capital by 2030, as well as the firm's 18-month, $250 billion Critical Infrastructure Finance Initiative.

She also leads infrastructure and sustainable finance task forces convened by the United Nations, G7, B20/G20, COP and the World Economic Forum, and serves on the Climate Advisory Council of theRockefeller Foundation.

Karen has been named to Fortune's "40 Under 40," honored as a World Economic Forum Young
Global Leader, and included in the 2024 TIME100 Climate list. She has also been recognized by Crain's New York Business as a Notable Leader in Sustainability (2023, 2024 & 2025) and received the Global Sustainability Award from the One To World Fulbright Scholars community. Additional distinctions include the American Banker Most Powerful Women Standout Award and Business Insider's "100 People Transforming Business."

Beyond her professional responsibilities, she is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS), where she sits on the Finance Committee and the Digital Transformation Committee.

Prior to joining Bank of America, she held senior leadership positions at Goldman Sachs, Deutsche Bank and Merrill Lynch. She earned her bachelor's degree in Evonomics from the University of Tokyo.
