MSc in Finance, HEC Montreal. From 1996, with Citibank North Africa including as RVP Country Treasurer and Vice-President, Regional Market Risk. From 2003, with the World Bank; worked extensively on finance, private sector and infrastructure in Latin America region. With the African Development Bank: from 2007, Manager, Private Infrastructure Finance, overseeing significant growth in project finance activities in relation to energy, transport and ICT; since 2010, Director, Energy, Environment and Climate Change Department, overseeing the Bank's operations for energy sector development in Africa, the mainstreaming of environmental and social safeguards in bank infrastructure and private sector operations, and the operationalization of climate change financing. Co-chairs the Bank's team working on Green Growth.
