I consider myself as a tech entrepreneur, active in the domain of plasma technology. In 2013, I finished a PhD in chemical engineering at the University of Brussels.
After my PhD, I was responsible for a spin-off trajectory of plasma coating technology from a Flemish research institution called VITO (Flemish Institute for Technological Research) in Belgium.
This spin-off, ‘Molecular Plasma Group’, was founded in September 2017 in Luxembourg, where I started as Technology Director and where I was responsible for scaling plasma technology from a lab environment towards industry.
In 2021, I co-founded another climate tech company, ‘D-CRBN’ (pronounced DECARBON), utilizing plasma to split CO2 in its original building blocks. It is a dream come true, to support the mission of D-CRBN to create a net zero emission society.
