Since May 2014, Chief Executive Officer and General Manager, Enel. Joined the Enel Group in 2000, holding executive positions including Head, Business Power and Managing Director, Market Division. 2008-14, Chief Executive Officer and General Manager, Enel Green Power. November 2010, oversaw the initial public offering of the company and its listing on the Milan and Madrid Stock Exchanges with a market capitalization of €8 billion.
Began career in the construction management of power generation plants, first with the General Electric Group, then at ABB Group, and subsequently at Alstom Power as Head of Gas Turbine Sales Worldwide. Also worked in Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Switzerland and the United States.
Former: Board of Directors, United Nations Global Compact; Advisory Board, United Nations Sustainable Energy for All initiative; Co-Chair, World Economic Forum's Energy Utilities and Energy Technologies Community; President, Eurelectric.
