With Singapore Management University (SMU): Currently, Professor Emeritus of Finance (Practice) & Senior Advisor, Business Families Institute; Previous portfolios include positions as Associate Dean, Lee Kong Chian School of Business and Dean, Office of Executive & Professional Education; V3 Group Professor of Family Entrepreneurship, Vice-President Business Development; Finance Professor (Practice); Academic Director, Business Families Institute and International Trading Institute. Chairman of Prime US REIT. Member of the Board: PBA Group, and Prudential Assurance Company Singapore; Former Member of the Board: K1 Ventures, Health Management International, Singapore’s Central Provident Fund and GovTech. Chair: Asian Bond Fund 2 Supervisory Committee, Monetary Authority of Singapore. Serves on the HR Transformation Advisory Panel and Singapore Customs Advisory Council. Conference speaker, panel moderator and commentator. Advises privately owned enterprises such as Flexxon Pte Ltd and TOP International, and startups such as Dedoco, Elevate Tech, Pyxis Maritime Pte Ltd, RootAnt Global, StashAway, StaffOnDemand, SWAT Mobility, and non-profits such as Cyber Youth Singapore and WWF Singapore. She has been an investment committee member of iGlobe Partners since July 2010, advisor to CUBE3 Ventures since October 2021, and Asia Food Sustainability Fund since February 2022. Research interests are in family office and family business, investor behaviour, alternate investments and enterprise risk management. Recipient: Singapore Public Administration Medals; Bronze (2010), Silver (2016), and the Adult Education Prism Award (2017) for contributions to the education and public sectors.
