In 2003 Dr. Andrea Pfeifer co-founded AC Immune SA, a Swiss-based, clinical-stage biopharma company which aims to become a global leader in precision medicine for neurodegenerative diseases. Since then, she has held the position of CEO and served as a Director of the Board since the IPO in 2016. Under her leadership, AC Immune has established a reputation for outstanding science and a globally recognized pipeline with six product candidates currently in clinical trials.

Dr. Pfeifer holds a Ph.D. in Toxicology, Cancer Research, has qualified as Privat Dozent at UNIL and is an Honorary Professor at EPFL. Her ability to leverage outstanding science into business, create internationally acclaimed strategies, and deliver unique approaches for combatting neurodegenerative diseases makes her a global leader in addressing these key issues.
