Led by Zhang Xin since 1995, SOHO China has become one of the largest developers of prime office real estate in China, with 5.5 million square metres (60 million square feet) in projects in Beijing and Shanghai. The company is acclaimed for developing iconic landmark buildings designed by internationally recognized architects. In 2007, it listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, raising $1.9 billion, Asia's largest office IPO to date.
