Room to Read

Room to Read provides a scalable, replicable model for improving the quality of education across Asia and Africa. It implements programmes in 10 countries, and has fundraising teams in North America, Europe, Australia and the Asia-Pacific region, and a worldwide staff of 900. Room to Read has received awards, including the UNESCO 2011 Confucius Prize for Literacy. It has impacted 9 million children's lives to date with improved educational opportunities in its early grade literacy and gender equality in education programmes.
