Lucerne Festival

The Lucerne Festival Foundation mounts three festivals each year. The summer festival has around 100 events including symphony concerts, chamber music, recitals, modern series, débuts, late-night concerts, early music, music theatre, street music festival and stage productions, held in August and September. At Easter, symphony concerts and choral works are held over roughly ten days, with a final concert on Palm Sunday. The Piano festival lasts one week with recitals and orchestral concerts in late November.
