The Joint US-China Collaboration on Clean Energy (JUCCCE) creates a liveable China by collaborating on trigger points that catalyse transformative change in the greening of China. It is a platform for action, a cultural bridge for China to the West, and a storyteller for sustainability. Its focus areas are eco-liveable cities, clean energy, reimagining prosperity, and sustainable diets. Its key milestones include holding the first public dialogues between the US and China on clean energy, introducing smart grids in China, and educating some 1,000 Chinese government leaders on how to build sustainable cities.
