概要
The Daphne Caruana Galizia Foundation is a non-profit, independent and non-governmental organization created by the sons and husband of investigative journalist Daphne Caruana Galizia, who was assassinated in a car bomb attack in Malta on 16 October 2017. The organization wishes to ensure that journalists, media organizations and victims of political discrimination, abuse of power and state collusion in criminal activity have access to justice. It aims to do this by establishing and supporting a network of public interest litigation lawyers, using legal cases to force institutional reform and accountability, and exploring the use of international mechanisms to ensure democratic accountability.
