Australian National University

Founded in 1946 and based in Canberra, the Australian National University (ANU) is Australia’s national university and a leading centre for research and education. Situated on a parkland campus in the nation’s capital, ANU brings together scholars across the sciences, engineering, humanities, social sciences and public policy to address complex challenges in Australia and the Asia–Pacific. With a strongly research-intensive culture and close engagement with government, industry and international partners, the university fosters interdisciplinary discovery and leadership. ANU’s institutes and national facilities underpin strengths ranging from astronomy and earth systems to health, security and Indigenous studies.
